DeMira Pierre is an award-winning producer, executive, and visionary storyteller whose career spans the entertainment, tech, and social impact sectors. With over a decade of experience, DeMira has led groundbreaking work at major companies including BET Networks, BuzzFeed, Headspace, and Google. Rising from intern to being named one of Forbes’ “For the Culture: Executives On The Rise”.
A champion for culture, community, and creativity, DeMira has served as a leading creative executive and producer shaping award-winning projects such as BET’s Sunday Best, YouTube’s Black Voices Collection boasting the Emmy-winning Tab Time with Tabitha Brown, and the critically acclaimed Recipe for Change specials Amplifying Black Women & Celebrating Black Men with LeBron James’ The SpringHill Company.
DeMira is the founder and executive producer of the award-winning Compton Fest. A two-time Anthem Award winning cultural festival and community initiative anchored in bringing access to healthcare, education and economic resources to her hometown Compton, CA. The festival has earned global recognition for its economic, creative, and social impact—and serves as a flagship example of how DeMira brings big ideas to life with purpose and power.
